The Royal Agricultural Society of England is delighted to launch the new RASE Science and Technology Award.

The purpose of the Award is to recognise individuals whose work has made an outstanding contribution to either:

i) The science underpinning agriculture, which ideally will have resulted in a significant impact through influencing practice, policy or product development.

ii) The development of an innovative technology that is changing agricultural practice.

If you feel that your work or that of a colleague successfully reflects this criteria, then we want to hear from you!

Nominations are welcome from Universities, research institutes, industry or other organisations and is open to those at all stages of their career.

Please email applications to Emily Stillwell via emilys@rase.org.uk.

The deadline for submissions is 31st May 2022 and should include a statement summarising your contribution, ideally with specific examples of how your work has had an impact on the practice of agriculture (no longer than 250 words) and a CV.

Nominations will be reviewed by a panel with expertise in agricultural research and agri-technology. The winner will be awarded £500, the RASE Science & Technology medal, life time membership of the Society and appointment as an Honorary Fellow of the Society.
